Father’s Day Sale of Silver Bucket

Just a short update and “for sale” posting…

Maroon Monsoon has been sold, raced, and is getting reconfigured by Jason, it’s new owner. MM is seeing and will see the race track on a regular basis. That’s exactly what I had hoped for.

Now, the next phase of disconnecting from the vintage motorcycle race circuit is a matter of selling Silver Bucket. The 1971 SL350 race project that evolved over a few trips to race tracks like Road Atlanta and Nashville Superspeedway. I’ve cleaned up the carbs, added fresh gasoline and had a short burst thrill giving a demo ride in front of the camera for the CL ad.

Looks like Dean and I have to run to the store, so we’ll take the VStar for a quick trip. If you know of anyone interested in getting into vintage motorcycle please forward the link to this posting.

More later.
